Splitting The Signals

Early on a rainy September morning, Union Pacific 5087 along with a Norfolk Southern locomotive roll north on the joint UP/I&M Rail Link mainline at Birmingham Junction. The train had just crossed over the Missouri River on the Trueman Lift Bridge. The top of the bridge can be seen way back in the distance.
