Urban Decay - A Window to the Past - Detroit, MI - Dec. 1992
Urban decay - Window

A decaying window in Detroit, Michigan, gives a framed view of an old blazer. This photograph was taken while I spent a little time in Detroit, and went around the city taking a number of images based on urban decay. Unfortunately, while I took a number of photographs for the series, I do not have many digitized yet.

Photo taken: December 1992, at Detroit, Michigan.

  1. Really like the framing, tonality and texture on this one, Tom

  2. Thanks, Brian Christian

This shot and the other one are part of a series I did on urban decay.

  3. Looks like a great series! Probably the best American city in which to do so, as well.
