Triple Trains on the Kearny Subdivision

Three Union Pacific trains are seen here rolling across the Kearny Subdivision.Two trains are heading west, while another, a loaded coal train, rolls east. The Kearny Subdivision is a triple track main line from Gibbon, Nebraska to North Platte, Nebraksa.

  5. Triple track good one. Watching it roll through Grand Island yrs ago was also nice as I picked up next to it for yrs at Overhead Door

  6. Thanks, Trucker Kev The Paid Tourist. I had passed through Grand Island earlier in the day on this trip, way back in 2005. Lots of action there too.
