With fresh snow on the ground and more falling, AMTK 709 leads train P284-28 east through control point (CP) 285 on the Syracuse Terminal Subdivision. CP 285 is at the west end of CSX's DeWitt Yard. In the background is Bridge Street and the old New York Central (NYC) coaling towers.

I was thinking "CP" meant Canadian Pacific, then I checked a previous post and saw it means control point....
ReplyDeleteNot much snow, you've been fortunate this year
I think winter has come a few months late to the area. Still not a lot, but We've gotten about 6 to 8 inches combined from a few snow fronts that have come through. I've updated the post to reflect that CP means control point. I usually do that and forgot this time.
DeleteVery nice! Glad you got some snow, if you wanted it, even though it probably won't last long.
ReplyDeleteOh, I want the snow. LoL. Makes for nice photographs, even of trains.
