Tankers In The Snow



Columbia, Illinois. January 9, 2005.

A string of tank cars roll north on a Union Pacific train on the Chester Subdivision. In the distance in the Jefferson Barracks Bridge which carries Interstate 255 over the Mississippi River between Missouri and Illinois. Locally the bride is called the JB Bridge. The bridge is named after the national cemetery located in Missouri atop the river bluffs in the distance.
