Rain Over The Thunder Basin in Wyoming

August 23, 2005. North of Bill, Wyoming.

The vastness of this part of Wyoming is really impressive to see. From where I took this image, it was bright and sunny. Yet, off in the distance, the sky was dark with rain clouds.

  1. Thank you, Shelly Gunderson. It was quite the sight to see. I imagine that the rain seen here is covering a rather large area, but looks so small compared to the vastness of the landscape.
