Tram 7041 and Tram 9283 passing in Lesser Town Prague

Tram 7041 and Tram 9283 passing in Lesser Town Prague
Trams 7041 and 9283 - Lesser Town Prague

Tram 7041 (Tatra T3SU) and tram 9283 (Škoda 15 T) pass each other on Letenská Street in Menší Město pražské (Lesser Town of Prague). Tram 9283 is heading toward Malostranské náměstí (Lesser Town Square), while tram 7041 is heading toward the Malostranská tram stop, near Mánesův most (Mánes Bridge). The steeple of Kostel svatého Josefa (St. Joseph Church) can be seen in the background, just above the pantograph of tram 7041.

The two style of trams offer an interesting contrast between the old and the new model styles. Tram 7041 seems to fit in better with the old and historic architecture of Lesser Town, although tram 9283 probably offers a much more comfortable ride.
