Rock Region Metro streetcar 411 has just made a turn onto 3rd Street, from River Market Avenue, and is heading toward the World Avenue and #3rd Street stop/station. The station serves the William J. Old State House Museum - Little Rock, AR A view, from the front gate, of the Old State House Museum in Little Rock, Arkansas. The museum is the original state capital of Arkansas, and construction of the building started in 1833. In 1911, the new state capital building was opened and the Old State House was used for a number of other functions over the years, before becoming a museum archiving the state's history. Junction Bridge's lift span - Little Rock, AR This view shows the lift span of Junction Bridge . Built as a railroad bridge, it now serves as a pedestrian bridge that spans the Arkansas River. The lift span is permanently in the raised position so that river traffic can pass underneath. The Blue Line runs between North Little Rock and Little Rock. The Blue line uses the Main Street Bridge to cross over the Arkansas River between the two cities.
