 Back in November of 2015, I made a short trip up to Guthrie, Kentucky, following CSX's Henderson Subdivision from north of Nashville, Tennessee. I didn't catch much along the line that day, but I happened upon CSXT 6918 on the point of a yard job at Guthrie. CSXT 6918 is on the point of a yard job at Guthrie, KY. At Guthrie, KY., CSX has a small rail yard along its Henderson Subdivision . The rail yard sits just to the northwest of the Kentucky-Tennessee border. The Henderson Subdivision and yard has an interchange with a rail line used by R.J. Corman, via a wye connection just to the northeast of State Street. I caught CSXT 6918 (an EMD GP40-2) and another locomotive sitting on the southern leg of the wye. The cantilever signal bridge behind CSXT 6918 is along the Henderson Subdivision. CSX 7371 - Springfield, TN Back in the winter of 2016, I caught CSX 7371 sitting on the point of a manifest freight train, just to the north of the crossovers at control point Courtland, on CSX's Henderson Subdivision. The train was stopped here, while it waited for a couple of other trains to pass it on their way to and from the Nashville, Tennessee area. The Henderson Subdivision runs between the Evansville, Indiana, and Madison, Tennessee. The southern end of the subdivision is at Amqui, a railroad junction in Madison. At Amqui, the Henderson Subdivision feeds into the Nashville Terminal Subdivision. Photo taken: January 25, 2016. Springfield, Tennessee.

May 1, 2011. Adams, Tennessee. On a wet and cloudy Sunday morning, CSXT 8160 and CSXT 7864 lead a grain train south on CSX's Henderson Subdivision, just outside Adams, Tennessee.

August 12, 2017. Adams, Tennessee. While I was driving along CSX's Henderson Subdivision, I spotted what looked to be construction work progressing on a new bridge span to cross the Red River. CSXT 3165 northbound at MP 214, just to the southeast of the KY-TN state line. CSX 3165 leads a northbound empty coal train  on CSX's Henderson Subdivision, at mile post 214. This location is at Al Carter Road, and is southeast of Guthrie, Kentucky . The train is in Tennessee at here but is closing in fast on the Tennessee-Kentucky border, which is about a mile northwest of this location. CSX 158 and CSX 675 - Henderson Subdivision Having just crossed over the Ohio River from Henderson, Kentucky, CSXT 158 and CSXT 675 lead an empty coal on the CSX Henderson Subdivision 's Henderson Bridge. The train is on the bridge's approach on the Indiana side of the river. The bridge is approximately 1.67 miles in length, and most of that length is on the Indiana side of the bridge. The approach on the Indiana side to the bridge's main spans over the river is just about a mile. Photograph taken: July 13, 2012. South of Evansville, Indiana.

CSX 3095 - Springfield, TN CSX 3095 and CSX 5120 lead a coal train south at Control Point Courtland on the CSX Henderson Subdivision, at Experiment Station Road. The train had been stopped a bit further back from this location for a while because it had been waiting for clearance to proceed on toward Nashville. Hidden behind this coal train is another CSX train also waiting to proceed south. January 25, 2016. Springfield, Tennessee.

CSX 3095 and CSX 7371 - Springfield, TN CSX 3095 leads a southbound coal train past CSX 7371, at Control Point Courtland on the CSX Henderson Subdivision.
